Subproject S1 - Risk Management in Global Supply Networks

Objective

This subproject aims to analyze the relationships between agents/partners in supply networks from the perspective of risk management. The main objectives are:
• Create a holistic framework for risk management that integrates the main supply chain processes (supply, demand, production and transportation) in a global supply networks;
• Develop a simulation network model using this framework to generate and analyze planning processes scenarios for global supply networks;
• Apply the framework/simulation model developed in a real BRA-GER integrated manufacturing and transportation operation to validate the robustness of this new approach.

Subproject A1 - Development of a quasi-real-time scheduling approach for integrated production and logistics systems

Objective

The cold chain research aims to collaborate with anchor project "A1 - Development of a quasi-real-time scheduling approach for integrated production and logistics systems" through the development of studies and works which identify faults occurred in cold chain logistic distribution, present the importance of performing the distribution activity with quality and also propose the temperature as a requirement to routing model for chilled and frozen food products.
